Engage in productive activities, PWD advises colleagues
Madam Victoria Konama, a Physical challenged trader at Odumase in the Sunyani West Municipality has advised Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to engage in productive activities, instead of begging alms on the street.
“Disability is not a problem that should drive us to the street for alms begging because we also have intellectual capabilities to do business”, she said.
In an interview with Sky News Mad Konama appealed to the government to support the PWDs to engage in petty trading and other viable economic activities to better their lives.
